RIGHT OF WAY MOWING SERVICES, HOMESTEAD FIELD STATION SERVICE AREA

The purpose of this Request for Bids (RFB) is to solicit bids from responsive and responsible bidders for right-of-way mowing services. The work consists of cyclical right-of-way mowing and trimming services of approximately 10,257 acres of canal right of ways and 333 access gates annually, in an estimated nine (9) mowing cycles of canal embankments of various widths. This includes, but is not limited to, canal embankments, grassed levees, berms, access roads of various widths, and around irrigation pipes, and water control structures, using conventional high production, large and small machine mowing and trimming equipment within the Miami Field Station service area. A minimum of two years of verifiable experience is required in order to be deemed responsible to this RFB. The contract term is for three (3) years with two (2) one-year renewal options.
