The City is seeking to qualify General Contracting companies with experience in all aspects of new construction of a Recreation complex, site work, servicing, landscaping and other related experience. Respondents should have recent demonstrable

experience in projects of similar scope and scale to the work described in this RFSQ. It is the City’s intention to seek competitive bids from pre-qualified General Contractors for the construction of the Recreation Centre and Library, Cambridge, ON. According to current timelines, a Request for Tender (RFT) is expected to be released in mid to late Q2 2024, subject to various agency approvals/Council timelines that are currently underway. For the purposes of this procurement process, the “RFSQ Contact” will be: Knick Dawe Procurement Coordinator dawek@cambridge.ca Respondents and their representatives are not permitted to contact any employees, officers, agents, elected or appointed officials or other representatives of the City, other than the RFSQ Contact, concerning matters regarding this RFSQ.
