INVITATION TO BID – Burlington Junction Railway Date: October 16, 2023 RE: Construction of a Cross Dock and Rehabilitation of 3,000 feet of an existing Lead Track Burlington Junction Railway will be accepting Bids from contractors that have registered with Design Nine, Inc. at www.design9.com and are included on the “Registered Contractors List” that is maintained by Design Nine, Inc. Within three (3) calendar days of receipt of the inquiry Design Nine will forward a Dropbox link that will include “Contractor Qualification” documents that must be completed by the Contractor and submitted to Glenn Hay at

Interested contractors are advised to verify their registration status by visiting the Dropbox link that had been provided prior to submitting a Bid. SCOPE of WORK: See Exhibit “A” Section 100 for a detailed Scope of Work and specific project requirements. STANDARD TERMS: See EXHIBIT “A” Section 130 including all addendums thereto, are incorporated into this Invitation to Bid. SPECIAL TERMS: There will be a mandatory pre-bid meeting held at the BJRY office in Fenton Missouri on November 8, 2023. Bid proposals will be due no later than 3;00 pm CST on Wednesday December 13, 2023, Exhibit A Section 110 paragraph C. Project completion must be concluded and fully invoiced by May 10, 2024, and is contingent on receiving funding from the state of Missouri for 2024 fiscal year (July 1, 2023, to June 30, 2024) Freight Enhancement Program funding.
