href="mailto:aguilarl@scag.ca.gov">aguilarl@scag.ca.gov Bids to Owner's Agent Description Scope of Services SCAG’s Design & Content team is seeking an exceptionally organized, experienced, and communicative Design & Content consultant. The consultant and its team (Consultant) will have experience working at the brand level, developing scalable visual systems and guidelines to bring clarity to organizational identities. The Consultant will also be formally trained and highly skilled designers capable of visual storytelling, adapting brand identities across a wide range of deliverables and advising SCAG’s internal team on best practices for scaling its brand, both in terms of approach to artwork and retooling its production processes. Working closely with SCAG’s Media & Public Affairs team, the consultant shall collaborate on further developing the agency’s visual and written identity, assisting in the development of visual and messaging systems, and corresponding templates and guides. This work will be important in creating a foundation to bring greater cohesion to communication about the agency’s work and its various programs. This will involve work on SCAG’s long-range planning document, Connect SoCal 2024, which outlines the vision and key concepts behind all of SCAG’s technical programs, as well as other studies, white papers and reports that the agency publishes. The Consultant shall serve as an extension of the in-house team to produce collateral that will support the agency’s marketing and communications efforts, such as fact sheets, reports, social media assets, presentations, outreach displays and more.
