(Please note this solicitation is not ready to be issued as of this date.)The requirement is for vendor to provide health insurance services per the Global Medical Coverage specifications to local employees of the U. S. Mission in Senegal. The estimated number of LES employees is 409, and the estimated number of dependents is 1,423. This amounts to a total number of 3,994 enrollees.These requirements may change depending on funding availability in forthcoming periods. Anticipated performance is for one (1) base period of twelve months, and then four (4) one-year option periods. The option to exercise these option years is unilateral decision by the U.S. Embassy.All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered. The solicitation (SF1449), all attachments, and all amendments will be published for viewing and printing from the beta.sam.gov website.  Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the beta.sam.gov website for the solicitation and any amendments to the
solicitation.All contractors must be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) Database https://www.sam.gov  prior to contract award pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7. Therefore, prospective offerors are encouraged to register prior to the submittal of quotations/proposals. The guidelines for registration in SAM are also available at: https://www.sam.gov/SAM/The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussions. The resultant contract will be a firm, fixed-price contract. The Government is planning a pre-proposal conference. The date for this conference will be published in the solicitation.  Note: The response date in this synopsis is not firm; please see the Request for Proposal for the actual closing date of the solicitation. QUESTIONS:  Questions will not be accepted at this time.
