Job OpportunityParks and Forestry Maintenance/Zoo AssistantCity of Chippewa Falls- Parks, Recreation and Forestry DepartmentThe City of Chippewa Falls is accepting applications for a full-time Parks and Forestry Maintenance/Zoo Assistant. This position assists with the building and equipment maintenance, upkeep of all Parks and Rec facilities and City parks, operates snow removal and grass cutting equipment, upkeep of plants, shrubs and trees, and performs animal care as needed. Qualifications: High School diploma and 1 to 3 years related experience and/or training is required or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must hold a valid driver’s license and should be able to acquire a commercial drives license. Applicant must have the ability to successfully handle hand tools, power equipment, pick up and dump trucks, trailers and towing. Wage is $20.81 per hour. 40 hour workweek will include days, nights and weekends.
