Box 399, New Glarus, WI 53574 at the office of the Village Clerk. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud immediately thereafter in the Village Board of Trustees meeting room. Description: Description:Contract B includes construction of new water main to connect the new water storage reservoir to the Village’s distribution system. Contract B is also responsible for providing site access, excavation and grading of the tank site to the limits shown on the plans prior to Contract A construction, final site grading and paving. Contract B consists of these units: 12-inch Water Main 1,800 lineal feet Site Preparation 1 acre Grass Restoration 3 acres Hot-Mix Asphalt Pavement 1,000 square yards The quantities and the main sizes are subject to change without notice prior to document distribution. Bidders must be pre-qualified with the Village of New Glarus within the last year or must be pre-qualified for this work 5 days prior to the bid deadline in accordance with Section 66.0901 of the Wisconsin Statutes. Each bidder must deposit, with his bid, security in the amount of 5% of the maximum bid amount. Bidders must be experienced in municipal pipeline construction. The Village of New Glarus reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities in any bid.
