"NOTICE TO BIDDERS\n\nSealed proposals will be received by the North Carolina Department of Public Safety in Raleigh\nNC, in the office of NCDPS Central Engineering, Door #4, 2020 Yonkers Road, Raleigh, NC\n(hand delivered); 4216 Mail Service Center, Raleigh, NC 27699-4216 (mailing address) up to\n10:00 AM 02/14/2023 and immediately thereafter publicly opened and read for the furnishing of\nlabor, material and equipment entering into the construction of:\n\nSCO ID#22-24440-01A, C#11453, Job Order#4258\nLenoir Youth Development Center Retro-Commissioning\n\nReplace existing control system with new control system, rebalance, and recommission system.\n\nBids will be received for a single prime contract. All proposals shall be Jump surn.\n\nPre-Bid Meeting\n\nA mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held for all interested bidders on 01/26/2023 at 10:00 AM\nat the Lenoir Youth Development Center located at 3060 Dobbs Farm Rd. Kinston NC\n28504. The meeting will address project specific
questions, security, issues, bidding procedures\nand bid forms. Failure to attend the Pre-Bid Conference will disqualify your company from\nbidding.\n\nThe meeting is also to identify preferred brand alternates and their performance standards that the owner will consider\nfor approval on this project.\n\nIn accordance with General Statute GS 133-3, Specifications may list one or more preferred brands as an alternate to\nthe base bid in limited circumstances. Specifications containing a preferred brand alternate under this section must\nidentify the performance standards that support the preference. Performance standards for the preference must be\napproved in advance by the owner in an open meeting.
