Request for Bids 2023 Chevrolet Tahoe Police Package Vehicle Bid Project October 4, 2023 Request For Bids General Description The City of Greenville is accepting bids for the purchase of two 2023 Chevrolet Tahoe police vehicles, with police packages, and meeting the specifications outlined. Lafayette Street Greenville, MI 48838 All responses must be clearly labeled – “2023 Chevrolet Tahoe Police Package Bid Project.” http://www.greenvillemi.org/ Request For Bids Evaluation of Proposals The City will review submitted bids and other relevant information regarding the products bid. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any response for any or no reason and to waive any minor irregularity if determined to be in the best interest of the City of Greenville. Selection of Proposals Once the winning proposal is selected, the City will draft an agreement. Upon bidder approval and execution, it will be presented to Council for approval. Scope of Work The City of Greenville will accept bids for the purchase and delivery of two 2023 Chevrolet police package Tahoe vehicles, with specifications. The bid return must also include that the standard warranty for Chevrolet vehicles applies. No sales tax may be added to the bid, as the City of Greenville is sales tax exempt. Additional specifications for the vehicles are found on the next page of this document. Bidders providing equipment on the vehicles outside of the bid specifications need to also provide the justification as to why the bid specifications could not be met and what equipment is missing from the specifications. In the event equipment proposed meet or exceed the requested merchandise listed, justification is required as well. The City of Greenville will review all bids submitted. The Department of Public Safety understands some features may not be available or may be “different but similar” on pre- made 2023 Chevrolet Tahoes currently located at Chevrolet dealers.
