Lodging for Disaster Events

As a result of hurricanes, tornadoes, public health emergencies, or other major natural disaster or man-made disaster, which may be declared a major disaster by the President of the United States or the Governor of the State of Florida (each a "Disaster Event"), OUC may require hotel/lodging services, that include but are not limited to guest rooms, food and non-alcoholic beverages, meeting rooms, equipment staging areas, and parking, (“Lodging Services”) for its personnel or foreign crews. The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to solicit proposals from qualified companies seeking to provide Lodging Services before, during, and in the aftermath of a Disaster Event. These services will be utilized, on an as needed basis, in the event of an impending Disaster Event, during a Disaster Event, or as a result of a Disaster Event. The location for the Lodging Services shall be within 3 miles of OUC’s service area. OUC makes no guarantee that these services will be required during the term stated in this
