I am seeking out the availibility of Small Business vendors with NAICS code 541330 only, to perform work in reference to a Regional Mine Reclamation IDIQ for both Region 6 (Washington & Oregon) and Region 10 (Alaska).
The scope of work covers A/E services for an array of Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA) response actions at abandoned mine sites located on National Forest System Lands in Region 6 and 10. These sites are known or suspected to contain mine waste and hazardous substances that are or may be putting human health and/or the environment at risk.
The required tasks at abandoned mine sites may include some or all the following phases:
• Abbreviated Preliminary Assessment
• Site Inspection/Risk Assessment
• Engineering Evaluation and Cost Analysis
• Removal Design
• Engineering Services during Removal Action
• Post-Removal Operations, Maintenance, and Monitoring
CERCLA
activities associated with abandoned mines are generally addressed through the National Oil and Hazardous Substances Pollution Contingency Plan (National Contingency Plan (NCP)), 40 CFR 300.
As requirements develop, Task Order Pricing Request (TOPR) will be issued.

At this time, there are NO PROJECT PLANS OR SPECIFICATIONS AVAILABLE. The purpose of this notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of all qualified sources to perform a potential requirement. Responses to the information requested will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition size standard.

Interested vendors who are registered in the System for Award Management (SAM), as a small business under NAICS code 541330 can submit:
1. Technical capabilities & professional qualifications
2. Relevant Past Performance within the last 5 years
3. Capacity to perform 2-5 task orders per year
All information must be received by the Forest Service no later than April 30, 2018, 2:00 PM PST. Email all responses to lsolberg@fs.fed.us
Interested vendors should attach informational material about the company including brochures, items 1-3 listed above, etc. All information shall be submitted in Word or PDF format, not to exceed 10 pages, including all attachments.
Important Notes: An organization responding to this notice should ensure that its response is complete and sufficiently detailed to allow the Government to determine the organization's qualifications to perform the work. Respondents are advised that the Government is under no obligation to acknowledge receipt of the information received or provide feedback to respondents with respect to any information submitted. After a review of the responses received, a pre-solicitation synopsis and solicitation may be published in Federal Business Opportunities.
541330 Engineering Services: Defined as - This industry comprises establishments primarily engaged in applying physical laws and principles of engineering in the design, development, and utilization of machines, materials, instruments, structures, processes, and systems. The assignments undertaken by these establishments may involve any of the following activities: provision of advice, preparation of feasibility studies, preparation of preliminary and final plans and designs, provision of technical services during the construction or installation phase, inspection and evaluation of engineering projects, and related services.
