LEGAL NOTICE 2020 Van Wert County Radio Project Re-bid Sealed bids will be received by the Board of Allen County Commissioners, 204 N. Main Street, Suite 301, Lima, Ohio 45801 and via QuestCDN.com until 11:00 a.m. on September 21, 2021, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud for the 2020 Van Wert County Radio Project. The Board of Allen County Commissioners is requesting bids for 700/800 MHz P-25 mobile radios to be utilized by the Van Wert County Sheriffs Office. Specifications for this item have been developed in cooperation with the Van Wert County Sheriffs Office. Complete digital project documents are available at www.questcdn.com. A contractor may view the contract documents at no cost prior to becoming a Planholder. Project bid documents must be downloaded from QuestCDN which will add your company to the Planholder List and allow access to vBid online bidding for the submittal of your bid. Bidders will be charged a fee of $30.00 to submit a bid electronically. Paper or electronic bids may be submitted. Paper bid documents may be requested from the Allen County Commissioners office, 204 N. Main Street, Suite 301, Lima, Ohio. All bids will be on the proposal form furnished by Allen County and in accordance with specifications, general conditions and instructions. The Board of Allen County Commissioners reserves the right to reject any and all bids received and waive any irregularities in favor of the County. Bids in excess of $50,000.00 shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond, Certified Check, Cashiers Check, or money order on a solvent bank or savings and loan association equal to but not in excess of 10% of the bid upon condition that, if the bid is accepted, a contract will be entered into within ten (10) days which contract shall not be assigned without the prior written approval of the Board of Allen County Commissioners. The Bid Bond, Certified Check, Cashiers Check, or money order may be appropriated by the County of Allen, as liquidated damages in the event the successful bidder fails to execute the Contract or otherwise comply with the Specifications within ten (10) days after the award. If the bidder is unsuccessful, then the Bid Bond, Certified Check, Cashiers Check, or money order will be returned within ten (10) days after the successful bidder has executed the Contract. Bids are to be submitted via QuestCDN.com, eBidDoc#8026986 or in a sealed envelope properly marked 2020 Van Wert County Radio Project on the outside of the envelope and submitted to the Clerk of the Board, Board of Allen County Commissioners, 204 N. Main Street, Suite 301, Lima, Ohio 45801, on or before 11:00 a.m. on September 21, 2021, at which time they shall be publicly read aloud. Any bid may be withdrawn prior to the above scheduled time and date for the bid opening or authorized postponement thereof. Any bids received after the scheduled time and date of the bid opening shall not be considered. Additionally, Bidders shall not be permitted to alter their bid after the bid opening. Further, all prices quoted by the bidder in their respective bids must remain unchanged for a period of sixty (60) days after the date of the bid opening.
