Sale of Continental Hotel Property

The City of San Antonio’s Center City Development and Operations Department is releasing a Request for Proposals (RFP) to solicit proposals for the sale and redevelopment of a City-owned building and adjacent parking lot located on 1.08 acres at 322 W. Commerce, commonly known as the historic Continental Hotel property. This process is intended to provide an opportunity for interested developers to demonstrate their interest and capability to redevelop the property for mixed-income housing. A Pre-Submittal Conference will be held at the City of San Antonio’s Plaza de Armas Gallery, 1st Floor, located at 115 Plaza de Armas, San Antonio, Texas 78205 at 9:00 a.m. Central Time, on Monday, September 23, 2019. A site tour of the Continental property will be provided after the pre-submittal conference.All proposals are due on Monday, October 28, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. Central Time. Proposals can be mailed to the Office of the City Clerk, P.O.
