PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT OF INTENT TO AWARD ON A SOLE SOURCE BASIS TO JANSON COMMUNICATIONS INC

US Army Corps of Engineers, Charleston District intends to award a sole source contract to JANSON COMMUNICATIONS INC 904 Mill Valley Dr, Warrenton, Virginia 20187-9211, to provide services US Army Corps of Engineers Construction and Survey Annex (CASA), Joint Base Charleston. Specifically, the workforce transformation for redesign, layout, and office furniture installation for the rebranding for the CASA Office.The statute authorizing the sole source award is 15 U.S.C. 637(m) as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 19.1506, Women-Owned Small Business Program Sole Source Awards. This Notice of Intent is not a request for Expressions of Interest (EOIs), proposals, or quotations. No solicitation documentation is available, and no telephone inquiries will be accepted. No contract award will be made on the basis of EOIs, proposals, or quotations received in response to this notice. Information received as a result of this notice will be considered solely for the purpose of

determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.This synopsis is for notification purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation for bids, quotes, or proposals. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 541990: All Other Professional, Scientific, and Technical Services. The Small Business size standard is $19.5 million. Janson Communications Inc. is a woman-owned small business (WOSB) under the applicable NAICS, and the NAICS has been determined underrepresented by the Small Business Administration (SBA). The Government does not intend to pay for any information provided under this notice.A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This synopsis does not constitute a solicitation; however, if any interested party believes they can meet the above requirement, it may submit a statement of capabilities. The statement of capabilities must be submitted in writing and must contain clear and convincing evidence that competition of this requirement would be advantageous to the Government. The contractor must have the capabilities to furnish all labor, materials and supplies to perform design and delivery of workplace transformation set up. If parties choose to respond, any cost associated with preparation and submission of data or any other cost incurred in response to this announcement are the sole responsibility of the respondent and will not be reimbursed by the Government. A request for documentation will not be considered as an affirmative response. The Government will be the sole determiner regarding a company’s ability to meet all requirements.If no responses are received within three business days after publication of this notice before 12:00 PM ET, to the effect that obtaining services from an alternate source is more advantageous to the Government than obtaining these services through a sole-source contract, then a firm fixed price sole source award will be made to Janson Communications Inc.
