CRP 629 – MUSE DRIVE BRIDGE #211-0.85 REPLACEMENT

Franklin County Public Works is inviting and requesting bid proposals for CRP 629 – Muse Drive Bridge #211-0.85 Replacement. The project replaces the Muse Drive Bridge over South Columbia Basin Irrigation District’s Scooteney Wasteway. The new bridge will be in the same general footprint with a wider driving surface to meet current standards and functional requirements, increasing from 24’ in width to 32’ in width, containing two (2) 10’ travel lanes and 6’ shoulders. The bridge length is 66 feet between pavement seats and completely spans the existing earth canal. The project also includes installing guardrail, HMA paving, and other work. The project is located on the Franklin County/Adam County line directly 3.2 miles east of Booker Road (46.736514°, -118.982079°). This project has a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) goal of 11.0%. Sealed bids shall be marked with the project name and number and be addressed to the Franklin County Public Works Department. at the Office of the of County Engineer, Franklin County Public Works Department, 3416 Stearman Avenue, Pasco, Washington, 99301 until 9:00 AM, Wednesday, October 19th, 2022, and will then and there be opened and publicly read aloud. Bids shall be submitted only on the proposal form provided with the specifications. All bid proposals shall be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in cash, certified check, cashier's check, or surety bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total contract amount.
