Notice of Adopted Changes to the Regulations of the Board of Social Work Examiners On March 9, 2023, the Board of Social Work Examiners adopted regulation changes in Title 12, Chapter 18 of the Alaska Administrative Code. The regulations amend 12 AAC 18.112; 12 AAC 18.210; and 12 AAC 18.990 dealing with continuing education requirements for initial licensure and license renewals to include specific topics of study and a section prorating the number of hours required at renewal for newly licensed professionals holding a license for 12 months or less. The regulation changes were reviewed and approved by the Department of Law, signed and filed by the Lieutenant Governor on May 12, 2023, and go into effect on June 11, 2023.
