2022 Prof Services - CARES Act Rental & Mortgage Assistance Program Consultant

The Township of Cherry Hill’s Department of Community Development (Department) is seeking professional consulting and administration services consisting of assistance in developing and/or managing a rental and mortgage assistance program and/or utility assistance program funded through the federal CARES Act.  Specifically, the Department administers federal funds that the Township has received from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) through the CARES Act and has allocated funds in the amount of $601,585.00 to be used to provide rental and mortgage assistance to income qualified township residents that have been adversely impacted by the Coronavirus Public Health Emergency.
The primary purpose of the services solicited in this RFP is to work with the Township to develop a utility assistance program, continue marketing the rental and mortgage assistance program, provide technical assistance to applicants, process and review applications, manage dispersal of funds, and maintain any necessary compliance documentation.  
Costs for these projects will be paid for with federal dollars that the Township receives from HUD. The selected contractor will be required to comply with all applicable federal and state equal opportunity, affirmative action and Section 3 requirements as well as all federal requirements associated with CDBG
