Notice of Funding Availability: Community Engagement Capacity-Building Grants for Community-Based Organization202312-10043Closing Date: 02/21/2024 02:00:00 PM PTDetail: The City of Hillsboro seeks to award multiple grants that are intended to strengthen community-based organizations’ (CBOs) capacity support of marginalized and underrepresented communities – especially communities of color, including immigrant, refugee, and other linguistically isolated communities – who were impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. The City expects to spend approximately $690,000 to multiple CBOs through the Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA). The total number and individual amounts of grants will be determined by the City. Grant possibilities include: Staffing grants up to $200,000 each Training grants of up to $100,000 each Materials grants of up to $25,000 each and General support grants of up to $20,000 each CBOs may request funding in more than one of the grant categories above. However, the City

reserves the right, based on the City’s budget and the evaluation process, to fund an amount less than the total amount requested.
