The U.S. Forest Service has a recurring need to remove hazardous materials that have been left in the forest. The contractor shall provide all materials, labor, supplies, transportation, testing (if necessary), lab packing, paperwork/manifests to remove and dispose of hazardous materials collected at the above location and shown in the photographs below. All work will be performed in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations. There is a recurring need to dispose of hazardous materials. We do not know the quantities or types of hazardous materials that will be collected during any given period. Each pickup will be approximately one third the size of the initial pickup, which can be found on the Chemical List for Disposal at the end of this document. When hazardous materials cache approaches storage capacity, contracting officer representative (COR) or an appointed government technical monitor (GTM) will contact (via phone or email) contractor indicating quantity of hazardous materials and inventory.
