Jonatan Haro, P.E. will be received online at www.CivcastUSA.com until 2:00 p.m. CST, Tuesday, December 13, 2022 and then opened and read for “Tract 7B-2 Access Road and FM 1405 Widening”, Chambers County, Texas. More information regarding the electronic bid submittal can be found at www.CivcastUSA.com. Due to COVID 19, Chambers County Improvement District No. 1 will only accept electronic bids. Scope of Work for the Contract includes the construction of Access Road 7B-2, a 30 foot wide two lane undivided (approximately 1,150 linear feet) concrete roadway. The project will also include roadway widening of FM 1405 for the section adjacent to the proposed Access Road 7B-2, and associated roadside, culvert drainage structures (drain inlets and outfall to the adjacent detention pond),etc., within Chambers County Improvement District No. 1. Bids received after the closing time will not be accepted. A MANDATORY pre-bid conference will be held on Tuesday, December 6, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. CST. The pre-bid conference will be organized using available teleconference methods (such as Microsoft Teams). More information regarding the Mandatory Pre-Bid meeting can be found at www.CivcastUSA.com. Attendance by each prospective bidder or its representative at the pre-bid conference is MANDATORY, and no Bid will be accepted unless the bidder or representative was present at the pre-bid conference. Each Bid must be accompanied by a bid bond or a certified cashier’s check, acceptable to the Owner, in an amount not less than 5 percent of the total amount of the bid, as a guarantee that the successful bidder will enter into the Contract and execute the Bonds on the forms provided and provide the required insurance certificates within 10 days after the date Contract Documents are received by the Contractor.
