Scope of Work The City of Port St Lucie is seeking to obtain a Design Professional who has extensive experience, skills, and a vision to develop a comprehensive, detailed Conceptual Master Plan for an Adventure Park that has been envisioned for the site currently identified at 1501 SW Cameo Blvd., Port St.
Lucie, FL 34953. The selected professional will design an Adventure Park for all types of possible uses that include: skateboards, in-line skates, Bicycle Motocross (BMX) bicycles, and other appropriate non-motorized wheeled sports activities. Designs including a rock wall, playground, ropes agility courses, ziplines or other ‘adventure’ recreation elements appropriately suited for such a park are encouraged. This project may be a combination of poured-in-place concrete and/or precast concrete elements, BMX Jump Trails, a BMX Racetrack and Mountain Bike (MTB) Trial. There will be a need for appropriately-sized parking areas, signage, lighting, benches/bleachers, fencing, trash receptacles, restroom facilities, security cameras and drinking fountains. Conceptual Master Plan must be in accordance and in compliance with all local & state building design codes. Designs must be realistic and constructible. The proposed project site is owned by the City of Port St. Lucie and is comprised of approximately 38.93 acres.
