Qualifications: The Contractor must have at least a minimum of ten years’ experience in the heating and air conditioning business. A minimum of five references within the last three years must be submitted with the quote. These references must include: Company name and address, contact person’s name and current phone number, what the project entailed, when it started and when it was completed. Miscellaneous: If the contract is greater than $25,000 then within ten (10) days of notification of contract awards, the successful Contractor will be required to submit a Labor and Materials Payment Bond in the amount of fifty percent (50%) of the contract amount to be held in the City’s Purchasing Department until all work has been accepted by the City.
