RFQ #SHARC-0000481 - HEWLETT PACKARD ENTERPRISE HARDWARE FOR JAIL INFORMATION MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

On behalf of the Riverside County Sheriff's Department – Technical Services Bureau (TSB), the County of Riverside Purchasing solicits quotations for Hewlett Packard Hardware for the Jail Information Management System, as detailed in this RFQ. The Jail Information Management System is currently running on the platform HP/Unix, which has served all of our jail facilities and county agencies well over the past ten years. The department was notified that this system is at the end of its service life and will not be supported by 2025. To avoid interruption of our service, we will convert this system to HP/Linux, providing service for the next ten years. To complete the project, TSB needs to purchase Hewlett-Packard hardware. The department will not consider like products due to the configuration requirements. ALL hardware must include 5yr 24x7 Support (product ID in specs). Equipment must be sourced from an HPE-authorized distributor in the U.S. and drop shipped directly from the HPE factory to the Riverside County Sheriff's Department upon receipt of a purchase order. Equipment assembled/configured at the reseller or other site will not beaccepted and returned at vendor expense.
