PROVIDE UPDATED SPECS 01 00 00 GENERAL CONDITIONS6. Change Deductive bid items.REMOVE ITEM II (BID DEDUCT ALTERNATE NO. 1): Provide all Work described in ITEM I except modify the following items: Reduce the number of 2nd floor deck penetrations for return air ducts at rooms Angio #1 and Angio #2. Submit proposed duct consolidation plans that are the basis for the deduct amount. These plans must be coordinated with all other work occurring between the room ceilings and the deck, for review by the VA to help determine

the Alternate’s acceptance or not. Contract Duration is 540 calendar days after the NTP PRINCIPAL NAICS CODE: 236220 - Commercial and Institutional Building Construction PRODUCT/SERVICE CODE: Z1DA - Maintenance of Hospitals and InfirmariesREPLACE WITH ITEM II (BID DEDUCT ALTERNATE NO. 1): Deduct Angio Room 104 and Equipment Room 105 from the scope of the project as noted below:Perform required demolition in this area but do not provide interior wallboard (leave metal studs exposed), ceilings, finishes, nor equipment in Angio Room 104.Perform required demolition in this area but do not provide interior wallboard (leave metal studs exposed), ceilings, finishes, nor equipment in Equipment Room 105.Provide the door and viewing window of the Shared Control Room 106.  All finishes and elements required for Shared Control Room 106 will be complete as viewed from inside the control room.Construct and complete the wall and door to the Elevator Lobby so that it is finished when viewed from the elevator lobby.Install the double doors from Angio Room 104 to Corridor 103 with associated door controls and hardware.Where plumbing mains or branch piping (CW, HW, HW recirculation, steam, sanitary waste and vent, medical gas piping, etc.) pass through the noted deduction area and serve other areas outside of the deducted area these elements must be included in the base bid such that no elements outside of the deduct area are left inoperable.Do not provide scheduled lighting, power or systems work in this area except stub conduit scheduled to serve this area with pull strings back to the next junction box or panel outside of the deduct area. Provide life safety lighting in lieu of scheduled lighting to maintain minimum of ten foot-candles of light in the area.Construct supply air openings (Note 3 and 7 on Drawing M-201) for supply air ducts to second level mechanical room and close openings with fire rated damper.  Construct return air duct openings (Note 6, 15 and 20 on Drawing M-201) to second level mechanical room and close openings with fire rated damper.
