The primary goal of these services is to strengthen the coping skills, pro-social behaviors, personal empowerment, and resilience of youth to prevent and address distress and high-risk behaviors. Bidder should propose specific evidence-based, promising, and/or community-defined practices to be offered as appropriate to the target populations based on age and other demographic information. Culturally and linguistically appropriate services are to be provided in a variety of community settings throughout Orange County and may utilize

existing partnerships, including with community-based organizations in its service delivery. Prevention Services and Supports for Youth consists of two (2) service programs: 1. Group Educational Services; and 2. Family Interventions Proposers may apply for one (1), or both of the above-listed services. Proposers should submit a fully independent proposal for each service that they are applying for. (e.g. if your organization is applying for both services listed, please submit two [2] complete proposals). Added on Dec 12, 2022:In Section III.A., it currently reads, "Individuals or government offices are not eligible to submit a proposal."
