This notice is hereby issued in accordance with (IAW) FAR 5.203(a).The Department of State (DOS) intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 541690.The Bureau of Diplomatic Security (DS), Diplomatic Security Contracts Division (DSCD), Security Branch (SB) intends to award a time-and-materials contract to Operational Psychology Services, LLC for Operational Psychology Support Services in support of the Directorate of Threat Investigations and Analysis (TIA), Office of Protective Intelligence Investigations (PII), for a period of one (1) base year plus four (4) option years.Description: The Operational Psychologist will assist in the evaluation of everyday operations, case reviews (where necessary), training, and mitigating threats directly related to DS investigations and/or operations. The primary focus will be within the PII office. All work will be in support
of PII investigations and/or operations of other DS investigations as deemed necessary. Work will be tracked by an official case number in conjunction with a request from PII senior supervisors. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals or quotes or a solicitation for offers, however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the Government, IAW FAR 5.207(c)(16)(ii). The Government will not pay for information submitted in response to this notice nor will it compensate interested parties for any costs incurred in the development/furnishing of a response. Any responses must be submitted by email no later than 05 August 2022, 1:00 pm EST for consideration. Phone calls will not be accepted.
