time directly from the actual manufacturer as indicated. This part requires engineering source approval by the design control activity in order to maintain the quality of the part. Existing unique design capability, engineering skills, and manufacturing knowledge by the qualified source(s) require acquisition of the part in accordance with the design control activity's procedures, as approved by the cognizant Government engineering activity.Required delivery is 720 Days after Contract Award. However, early delivery is highly encouraged. This requirement is an other than full and open competitive. One contract will be awarded as a result of this requirement. Source approval must be obtained prior to being considered for contract award.
