Switchblade Contractor Logistics Support for FY17-19

PRE-SOLICIATION SYNOPSIS, NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCEThe Army Contracting Command - Redstone Arsenal, AL is issuing notice of the intent to solicit and negotiate with only AeroVironment, Inc. for FY17-19 Switchblade Contractor Logistics Support services. Market research via issuance of a sources sought posted to FedBizOpps.gov on 21 July 2016 concluded that only one responsible source is available to satisfy agency requirements. The sources sought notice was listed under NAICS code 541712 and classification code A. The NAICS code for this requirement has been changed to 336419 and classification code 14. A justification under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 was approved for this requirement. This requirement is for Switchblade Contractor Logistics Support to be performed during fiscal years 2017 through 2019. These services includes Shipping, Rework, Flight Support, CONUS Training, Training Materials, Field Service Representatives, Repair and Maintenance, and Travel for Switchblade Missile Systems. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement which shall be considered by the agency. Interested sources must respond in writing with clear and convincing evidence to support their ability to provide the required supplies/services within fifteen (15) days of this publication.
