Various projects include, but are not limited to, landscaping, planting and irrigation plans for parks, street medians, sports fields, playground areas, sitting areas, courts, demonstration gardens, dog parks, trailheads, picnic areas, shade structures, and general landscaping around existing sites. Other team members who may be retained by the Consultant to support the project as a subconsultant may include, but are not limited to, architects, lighting designers, interior designers, civil engineers, mechanical engineers, electrical engineers, geotechnical engineers, environmental engineers, surveyors, estimators, etc. The Consultant shall provide a detailed schedule of the assigned project upon issuance of Notice to Proceed of that particular project. The Consultant shall also provide all field survey works required to complete the designs. The Consultant’s services shall include, but are not limited to, the following: Project Management Community Outreach Preliminary Engineering Studies Surveys, Mapping and Field Reviews Environmental Studies and Documentation Utility Research and Coordination Design Bid Process Construction Support Services Other Details The City of Pico Rivera is seeking qualified consultants that can successfully provide On-Call Landscape Architectural Services for a wide range of Capital Improvement Projects citywide. The work will consist of, but not limited to, landscaping, planting and irrigation plans for parks, street medians, sports fields, playground areas, sitting areas, courts, demonstration gardens, dog parks, trailheads, picnic areas, shade structures, and general landscaping around existing sites. The selected consultant(s) must have the expertise, experience, and demonstrated resources available to perform the work described in this RFP. This solicitation is not for specific projects, but for specific services. The services are to be provided for the duration of the contract term. The projects may be funded through various State and local funds. The selected consultant(s) should have knowledge of the City/County Standards as well as knowledge of Standard Plans for Public Works Construction (SPPWC), Standard Specifications for Public Works Construction (SSPWC), and State/Local regulatory requirements.
