The Mission and Installation Contracting Command Center - Fort Bragg (MICC Center - FB) is seeking vendors capable of providing eight sets of 24 x 72"Visual Landing Zone Marker Panels complete with posts for air operations on the Pope Army Airfield, Fort Bragg, NC. Market research has identified only one vendor that manufactures this product. The Visual Landing Zone Marker Panels must comply with the criteria listed below. Marker Objectives: Landing zone marker panels must meet FAA AC 150/5345-44E (200 mph wind load). They are highly visible and have easily replaceable components. Installation is simple and panels are shipped pre-assembled. Self-Recovering Hinge: The stake assembly is FAA approved under L-853 AC/5345-39B. The polycarbonate post has a temperature range of -150 to +285°F. The reboundable live polyurethane hinge has an internal memory that remains dimensionally stable to -30°F. The hinge will flex 90 degrees in either direction from center. High Visibility: 24" x 72", in accordance with Air Force ETL-09-6 and are made of .090 Aircraft Grade Aluminum. The reflective material is 3M Diamond Grade DGQ. Pilots report the marker panels can be acquired 3 to 5 miles VFR daytime and 6 plus miles VFR at nighttime. The NAICS Code is 339950, "Sign Manufacturing" with a small business size standard of 500 persons. Electronic responses are required. No physical or "hard" copies will be accepted as a result of this request. No requests for capability briefings will be honored as a result of this notice. Information provided will not be used as a part of any subsequent solicitation requirements. All interested sources who provide goods or services to the Department of Defense (DOD) must be registered and current in the System for Acquisition Management (SAM) website, must have completed their business Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA), and be able to electronically submit invoices / receiving reports through the Wide Area Work Flow (WAWF) system.
