The project's scope encompasses a comprehensive bus detailing initiative aimed at maintaining and enhancing the aesthetic and functional aspects of MBL's fleet of buses. The selected contractor will be entrusted with the responsibility of providing meticulous and high-quality detailing services to ensure that the buses meet industry standards in cleanliness, appearance, and overall operational efficiency. The City operates MBL to provide reliable and efficient public transportation services to the residents of Montebello and neighboring communities. As the third-largest municipal bus system in Los Angeles County, MBL proudly serves 2.6 million passengers a year throughout the communities of Alhambra, Bell Gardens, San Gabriel, Boyle Heights, Commerce, Downtown Los Angeles, East Los Angeles, La Mirada, Montebello, Monterey Park, Pico Rivera, Rosemead, South Gate, and Whittier. The City’s intent of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to solicit a contractor who can provide meticulous and high-quality detailing services. The selected contractor will play a vital role in contributing to the positive public image of Montebello Bus Lines and ensuring that the buses remain in optimal condition. The City seeks to form a partnership with a contractor committed to delivering exceptional results while adhering to safety and environmental standards. . The City reserves the right to increase or decrease the quantity listed and to delete any item from the contract.
