Hilcorp Alaska, LLC, Paxton Pad, Two Grass Roots Wells, Unit Plan of Operations Amendment

The Alaska Department of Natural Resources, Division of Oil and Gas (Division) received a Unit Plan of Operations application on December 17, 2022, from Hilcorp Alaska, LLC (HAK) requesting authorization to drill two grass roots wells from the Paxton Pad in the Ninilchik Unit. The Division is providing public notice and an opportunity to comment.Applicant: HAKProject ID: LOCI 04-007Location: Paxton Pad is located approximately four miles northeast of Ninilchik near milepost 131 of the Sterling Highway and is on privately-owned surface lands.Project Description: In addition to drilling two grass roots wells, the proposed project would include the installation of associated infrastructure including: gas flowlines, electrical instrumentation, well cellars, and conductors.
