The Project consists of the following major elements: Construction of a proposed 500,000-gallon Elevated Storage Tank.Reconfiguration of existing valve vault including altitude, gate, and check valves, piping, supports, sampling port, electrical modifications for future connections to SCADA panel, and modifications to the existing concrete vault.Installation of yard piping,

including fittings, and connection to existing water lines.Site grading, drainage, and fencing, including erosion control and final site restoration.Demolition of existing 300,000-gallon Oak Hill Tank.The work will be awarded in one Contract. This project is funded under a grant contract with the State of Tennessee, Department of Environment and Conservation. Therefore, certain restrictions and other federal requirements attach to this opportunity. Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE) Requirements: This project involves ARP SLFRF funding, and does not involve the SRF Loan Program. Certain documents within this manual contain references to the SRF Loan Program DBE requirements. No documents are required to be submitted to the SRF Loan Program for this project. These documents are being provided as guidance for soliciting DBE participation. This project is funded through a TDEC ARP grant and therefore must assure that small and minority businesses, women’s business enterprises, and labor surplus area firms are used when possible (2 CFR Part 200.321).
