SOURCES SOUGHTContinue MITRE Systems Engineering Support for COMSATCOM, AlaskaThe United States Coast Guard is seeking sources from industry professional organizations who possess the capabilities, capacity, and requirement specific knowledge of the following scope:Scope USCG is seeking support to develop architectures and provide systems engineering support to ongoing operational challenges for Rescue 21 in the Alaska AOR. The tasking will include analysis of commercial satcom solutions and the development and deployment of a prototype COMSATCOM solution to augment the Microwave RF sites in Alaska, and withstand the harsh environment. Intent is to develop requirements for the NextGen enhancements of the Rescue 21 program. USCG is also seeking support for ongoing CG-6 and C5ISC initiatives to develop solutions and recommendations to enhance and modernize the R21 system to increase operational availability.
