Cable Television Service

The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) intends to negotiate and award a sole source purchase order under the authority set forth in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements, 10 U.S.C 2304(c)(1). Comcast is the only known source with the required sources and licenses to provide cable television service to the DEA Training Academy the performance period of one (1) year.This requirement will be awarded and will result in a Firm-Fixed price purchase order to Comcast. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 515210 and the size standard of $38.5M applies.THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS AND NO SOLICITATION OR REQUEST FOR QUOTATION (RFQ) IS AVAILABLE. Interested parties have fifteen (15) Calendar Days from the date of publication of this Synopsis, to submit in writing, to the identified point of contact, clear and convincing evidence of their ability to

procure all of the required sources. Such qualifications and/or capabilities will be used solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. Responses received after fifteen (15) Calendar Days, or without the required information, will be considered non-responsive to this synopsis and will not be considered.
