The ESG program is funded by HUD and is administered by the City of St. Louis Department of Human Services. ESG funds may be used for five program components: street outreach, emergency shelter, homelessness prevention, rapid re-housing assistance, and HMIS. The City of St. Louis is seeking a variety of applicants that can provide new and innovative solutions to housing and programs that seek to rapidly provide housing and services to the unhoused. ESG funded organizations shall work closely with other community programs that, together, provide an array of housing opportunities, services and solutions intended to prevent and end homelessness for households in need.
