City of Kahlotus, Washington Request for Qualification Data to Furnish Engineering Services The City of Kahlotus, Washington is requesting qualified engineers to submit Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) for providing design and construction engineering services for the City's Well Rehabilitation and Water System Improvements project. Project elements include the replacement of well pump, meter, electrical, piping, telemetry, and other non-functional components, along with water main, fire hydrant, and meter improvements. Consultant selection will be based upon the following criteria: 1) firm experience; 2) proposed consultant team; 3) project understanding and approach; 4) past performance/references; 5) familiarity with community and local knowledge; and 6) application and administration experience with federally funded projects, especially Washington Community

Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program. Interviews may be held at the City's discretion. Firms desiring consideration shall submit five copies of their SOQ to the City of Kahlotus, 130 E Weston Street/PO Box 100, Kahlotus, Washington 99335. Submittals must be received by December 12, 2019, no later than 5:00 p.m. (local time). SOQs shall not exceed 20 total pages, excluding front and back covers. The project is funded by the Washington CDBG Program, with federal funds provided by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
