In accordance with FAR 19.502-2 (b)(1), “The contracting officer shall set aside any acquisition over the simplified acquisition threshold for small business participation when there is a reasonable expectation that –(1) Offers will be obtained from at least two responsible small business concerns. The Government has determined based on market research and industry responses that the Digital Range Training Systems Tier 1 Continuous Tech Refresh Efforts will be a total small business set-aside as there is reasonable expectation that at least two responsible small business concerns will compete for the contract. An additional change has been made to the NAICS code from 333318 Other Commercial and Service Industry Machinery Manufacturing to 333310 Other Commercial and Service Industry Machinery Manufacturing. NAICS 333318 has been updated to 333310 and therefore this effort shall be posted under this NAICS
