Exterior door compliance to standards upgrade and card readers installation

Scope of Work:
The works consist, but not limited to: installation of door hardware, card readers, electric strikes, power transfer, electrical conduits and cables, modifications to the building access control system (addition of local digital controller inputs/outputs, expansion cards, relays, battery, etc.), replacement of access control appliances, outside installation of a card reader on a pedestal located on concrete base. A detailed works description is specified in the plans and specifications of the project.
Site Visit:
It is recommended that firms intending to submit a proposal for this project visit the work site. A site visit will be held on October 4, 2018 at 9:00 AM local time at Normandin Research Farm, located at 1468 St-Cyrille, Normandin, Quebec. Participants to the visit will be requested to sign an attendance form. Participants shall present themselves ten minutes before the visit scheduled start time.
Attendance to this visit is NOT MANDATORY but Firms that do not attend will not be given an alternative appointment, although they will not be precluded from submitting an offer. Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting from the site visit will be included as an amendment to the bid solicitation and will be posted on BuyandSell.gc.ca

Information requests and inquiries related to this tender process are to be directed, in writing, ONLY to the AAFC Contract Officer identified below. Bidders who contact anyone other than the AAFC Contract Officer to obtain such information during the solicitation period may, for that reason alone, be disqualified.
