2022 BIOSOLIDS HAULING AND LAND APPLICATION

Description: The City of Silverton is seeking sealed bids for the hauling and land application of City of Silverton Wastewater Treatment Plant biosolids sludge will be received in the Silverton City Hall Public Works Department, 306 S Water Street, Silverton, OR 97381 until 2:00 PM, Local Time on Wednesday, June 29, 2022, at which time sealed bids will be publicly opened and read. Bids received after the above specified time shall not be considered. In general, the contract shall consist of the following: Removal of approximately 1.0 million gallons of treated wastewater sludge (biosolids) from concrete lined ponds at the City of Silverton Wastewater Treatment Plant located at 400 Schemmel Lane, Silverton, Oregon. The sludge shall be transported and spread over an approved permitted agricultural land application site, approximately 10 miles from the wastewater treatment plant. The application site is at township 7S, range 1W, Sections 10, 11, and 14.Bidders can download bid documents by registering at www.silverton.or.us/bids. Registered bidders will be automatically sent any addendums on the project.
