Information submitted in response to this RFI does not constitute an offer or proposal to create an award by the Government. The U.S. Naval Hospital, Guam (USNH GU) seeks a contractor to provide Laundry and Dry Cleaning Services in support of the medical and dental operations for the hospital. Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, training, transportation and other items and services necessary to perform laundry and dry cleaning service in accordance with local, federal, and professional industry standards. Laundry in a health-care facility includes bed sheets, blankets, towels, personnel clothing, patient apparel, uniforms, scrub suits, gowns, curtains and drapes used for medical and surgical procedures. On occasions, used laundry may be contaminated with body substances such as blood, skin, fecal matter, urine,
vomitus and other body tissues and fluids and will require special cleaning. Bed sheets, blankets, towels, personnel clothing, patient apparel, uniforms, scrub suits, gowns will require 24 hour turnaround. Dry cleaning of lab coats will be require 48 hours turnaround or earlier and privacy curtains shall be processed and returned within 5 working days. Period of Performance: Base Option PLUS Two Option periods, not to exceed 36 months.
