NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCEProject Title: RECONFIGURATION OF METAL SHARK BOAT TO HELICOPTER HOIST TRAINING FLEET COMPATIBLE The Government hereby submits a notice of intent to award a sole source firm fixed price award for the reconfiguration of Metal Shark 38-ft Special Purpose Craft - Training Boat (SPC-TB) to accommodate helicopter hoist training, to Gravois Aluminum Boats, DBA Metal Shark, 6814 E Admiral Doyle Drive, Jeanerette, LA 70544, a small business. The total estimated value is less than $110,000.00.The proposed procurement is for service for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, where delay of award would result in serious injury to the Government. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes.
