PRE-DESIGN ANALYSIS AND ARCHITECTURAL SERVICES FOR 2021 COVID - Jail Remote Court Appearance

Description The Pierce County Facilities Management Department (County) is soliciting Statements of Qualifications from experienced professional architecture firms for pre-design alternatives analysis and design services for a Tenant Improvement to build multiple Jail Remote Court Appearance rooms with associated attorney/client interview rooms, holding cells with restroom access, and corrections officer monitoring station.  Located on the 4 thfloor of the CCB C-wing (Old Jail) located at 910 Tacoma Avenue South, Tacoma, WA 98402 The successful firm for this project will possess strength in designing remote or virtual courtrooms and/or hearing rooms, confidential interview rooms, detention holding cells with restroom access, and correctional officer monitoring station. In addition to courtroom and detention design experience, the successful firm will possess experience in other secure government facilities with comparable character, organizational strength for projects of the same size and timeframe, firm/team strength and experience with overall project planning, programming, coordinating consultant team specialists, scope and budget development, design, permitting, bidding, construction administration, post construction and all other services required to complete the project.
