The
goal of the IPF is to support innovation and collaboration, reduce costs, and increase economic development between the two municipalities by enabling efficient planning and delivery of select municipal services and infrastructure across the municipal boundary. To that end, the proponent will develop an inter-municipal Land Use, Transportation and Infrastructure Concept and report with recommendations for (joint ) i nfrastructure i nvestment within the study area. The proponent will also complete a Shared Services Opportunity Identification. This last deliverable will be based on a series of workshops (approx. 4 to 6 half-day sessions) that the proponent will plan and facilitate with identified City of St. Albert and City of Edmonton staff, the results of which will be summarized into an Engagement Report.
