Meyer Engineers, Ltd., 4937 Hearst Street, Suite 1B, Metairie, LA 70001(Phone: (504) 885-9892) upon payment of a deposit of $50.00 cash for each set of documents for hard copy set and /or a non-refundable fee of $25 for an electronic set on compact disk. The deposit or a portion of the deposit is returnable as provided in the Instructions to Bidders. C. BID SECURITY AND PERFORMANCE AND PAYMENTS BONDS Bids must be accompanied by a bid security at least equal to five percent (5%) of the base bid and all additive alternates in the form of a certified check, cashier’s check or bid bond. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a performance bond and a payment bond, each in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount. Contract, if awarded, will be on the basis of the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, if within the budget. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of 45 days after bid opening except as provided by law.
