Description: The City of Sachse, Texas is accepting proposals from qualified firms of certified public accountants to audit the City's financial statements and issue the City's Annual Comprehensive Financial Report for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2024, and each of the four (4) subsequent fiscal years. These audits are to be performed in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards, the standards set forth for financial audits in the U.S. General Accounting Office's (GAO) Government Auditing Standards, the provisions of the federal Single Audit Act of 1984 (as amended) and U.S. Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Circular A-133, Audits of States, Local Governments, and Non-Profit Organizations.Proposals, addressed to the attention of Ryan Bredehoeft, Assistant Finance Director, will be received at 3815-B Sachse Road, Sachse, Texas, 75048 until 3:00 PM on Thursday, May 9 th, 2024. To be considered, three (3) hard-copy/paper and one (1) electronic (USB preferred) copy

of the proposal must be submitted in a sealed envelope or box clearly marked with “RFP 2024-01 Audit Services” on the outside of the envelope or box. The City of Sachse reserves the right to reject in part or in whole any and all proposals received, waive any formalities in proposals received, or accept any proposal deemed advantageous to the City.
