Bids may be delivered in person or by mail and shall be addressed to the Jefferson County Board of Commissioners. All bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at 9:05 A.M. on November 3 rd, 2022, at the Jefferson County Highway Department, 3135 Clifty Drive, Madison, IN 47250. Any bids received after the designated time will be returned unopened. THE PROPOSED CONSTRUCTION CONSISTS OF CONSTRUCTING A CLEAR SPAN (30 FOOT – 0 INCH SPAN STEEL BEAM) BRIDGE (JEFFERSON COUNTY BRIDGE ON COUNTY ROAD 750 NORTH OVER

UNT OF TURKEY BRANCH), TWO NEW CONCRETE ABUTMENTS, ROADWAY APPROACH WORK, SITE GRADING, AND DEMOLITION OF THE EXISTING STRUCTURE ACCORDING TO THE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS. The Contract Documents, including plans and specifications, are on file for public inspection at the Jefferson County Highway Department Office, 3135 Clifty Drive, Madison, IN 47250. Plans and specifications will be available for procurement from the Engineer (Civilcon, Inc., 605 North Shore Drive, Unit 103, Jeffersonville, IN 47130). A digital PDF plan set may be purchased for a non-refundable fee of $50.00. A printed copy of plans and specifications may be purchased for a non-refundable fee of $150.00. Additional sets may be purchased for a non-refundable fee of $100.00 per set. A check for the plan fee shall be made payable to “Civilcon, Inc.”.
