Amendment 02  to this effort for Broadband Global Area Network Systems is notify interested parties that the Specifications attached to this solicitation under Attch 1 Govt Spec BGAN have been revised. This revision has removed the "Optional External Antenna" from the requirement.Amendment 01 to this effort for Broadband Global Area Network Systems is to specifythe transit/carrying cases shall be the Pelican  1550 Case with 4-Piece Foam Set (Black)  MFR # 1550-000-110. Attch 1 Govt Spec BGAN has been updated to reflect this change. In addition this ammendment will extend the Response Date to 6 September 2018 to allow interested parties to consider this change.This solicitation FA520918Q0130 for Broadband Global Area Network Systems is utilizing a 100 percent Small Business Set-Aside under NAICS 334111, Electronic Computer Manufacturing.Additionally this is a Brand Name or Equal requirement for Thrane (Manufacturer: Cobham) Model Explorer 710 portable Broadband Global Area Network (BGAN) devices, each with hard travel case.The Government has deemed the salient characteristics contained in Attachment 1 Govt Spec BGAN as the minimum requirements essential in meeting the Government's needs.Interested parties shall be able to meet the minimum requirements outlaid in Attachment, 1 Govt Spec BGAN Document.
