RFP 0475- To Provide Consulting Services for Hazard Mitigation Assistance Application Development and Grant Management for the Jefferson Parish Department of Floodplain Management and Hazard Mitigation postdate:- 14-Feb-2024 9:00:00 AM CST responsedate:- 22-Mar-2024 3:30:00 PM CDT ( 5h, 4m+ ) description:- REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL RFP 0475 Jefferson Parish Department of Purchasing is soliciting Request for Proposals (RFPs) from qualified firms to provide CONSULTING SERVICES FOR HAZARD MITIGATION ASSISTANCE (HMA) APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT AND GRANT MANAGEMENT SERVICES for the Jefferson Parish Department Floodplain Management and Hazard Mitigation. Jefferson Parish has been allocated funding from the Governor’s Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness (GOHSEP) for Hurricane Ida (DR-4611), Hurricane Zeta (DR-4577), and Hurricane Laura (DR-4559), and intends to submit applications to GOHSEP/FEMA for funding in these and future disasters and other competitive application cycles
through BRIC and FMA for infrastructure/utility retrofits, community flood mitigation, coastal restoration and other innovative concepts to make Jefferson Parish a safer place against future disasters. Assistance is needed with application development, requests for additional information, and grant management services. All proposals will be evaluated on criteria such as vendor’s technical proposal, qualifications and experience, financial profile and proposal responsiveness and other criteria more specifically defined in the RFP document. The maximum total points for each proposal are set at 100 points RFP specifications may be obtained by visiting the Jefferson Parish Purchasing Department webpage at http://purchasing.jeffparish.net and selecting the LaPAC Tab. RFPs may also be viewed and submitted online free of charge at: www.jeffparishbids.net or www.centralbidding.com. Submissions will only be accepted electronically via the Parish’s e-Procurement system, Central Bidding. Responses will be received until 3:30 P.M. on March 22, 2024. Jefferson Parish no longer accepts manual submissions. All vendors will be required to register with Central Bidding. The Jefferson Parish Council reserves the right to accept or reject any and all proposals, in whole or part, pursuant to the law. Jefferson Parish and its partners as the recipients of federal funds are fully committed to awarding a contract(s) to firm(s) that will provide high quality services and that are dedicated to diversity and to containing costs.
