The study must include a comprehensive market analysis as well as make specific recommendations that address compensation issues such as salary inversion, compression, internal equity and market competitiveness. The consultant must also identify opportunities and produce recommendations, if applicable, for alternative salary structures. The consultant must prepare a presentation and accompanying professional report that outlines all the above. They may be asked to present their analysis and findings to a wide variety of audiences, including CSU Faculty Salary Study Taskforce, the California Faculty Association Leadership, CSU’s Executive Leadership/Board of Trustees, and/or others as necessary.
